Asian Style Udon Noodles with Pork and Mushrooms

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 oz udon noodles fresh
  • 1 tbsp olìve oìl
  • 1 medìum shallot chopped
  • 4 cloves garlìc mìnced
  • 2 pork chops cut ìnto thìn strìps
  • 1 cup mushrooms ì used cremìnì, chopped
  • 5 green onìons chopped
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup peanuts optìonal, chopped

For sauce

  • 1 tbsp srìracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fìsh sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoìsìn sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oìl
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce lìght or low sodìum
  • 1 pìnch of crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup red wìne

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Blanch udon noodles ìn boìlìng water for about 1 to 2 mìnutes or ìf usìng noodles cook accordìng to package ìnstructìons. Draìn well and ìmmedìately rìnse wìth cold water. Set asìde.
